WGS Style-799 is an extremely durable packing able to withstand granular and abrasive applications. It is recommended for service in superheated steam, slurries, petroleum derivatives, solvents and liquified gases. It is commonly used in centrifugal, rotary and reciprocating pumps, agitators and mixers, especially in the paper, steel, petroleum and chemical industries, and in sewage treatment plants.

Material composition:
Style 807 is a diagonally braided from 100% pure PTFE yarn, impregnated with PTFE- dispersion, lubricated with an inert oil.
Properties:
• Excellent packing for all chemicals, acids & alkali of any concentration. • Impregnation of break in lubricant reduces start up friction. • Improves running and lubricating properties.

WGS Style 788 is diagonally braided from pure expanded flexible graphite reinforced with inconel wire at the corners with a high quality pure carbon yarn.
Properties
WGS Style 788 is the newest generation of graphite packings, specifically designed for very demanding applications. Because of the special construction style 788 can be used in areas where normal expanded graphite packings fail.
Application areas
This unique and extremely versatile packing can be used in all demanding applications, both static and dynamic. Style 788 does not suffer from limitations that prevent general service use in both pumps and valves. It is extremely well suited for high temperature - high pressure installations occuring in power stations, petrochemical plants, steel mills etc. .
